NHS Blood and Transplant
Sometimes good communication really is a matter of life and death. We’re incredibly proud of our work for the National Blood Service which, over the years, has helped to ensure a constant supply of life-saving blood donations to the NHS. We’ve managed a range of projects and have conceived, designed and written a whole raft of communications materials to impact donor acquisition, retention and frequency.
RSPB
Europe’s largest environmental organisation needed to increase the skills of its staff in influencing environmental policy. Participant feedback on our series of tailored training sessions left us blushing, with one evaluation describing us as “fabulous trainers”. More importantly, our client told us that the impact on environmental policy across the UK was fabulous too.
Royal College of Pathologists
The Royal College of Pathologists came to us with a problem – how to position pathology as an attractive career option for medical students. Our research revealed that what pathology lacked was an aspirational image. In response we created, tested and refined a core message that adorns their logo to this day.
WWF-UK
WWF came to us with a specific request to improve the face-to-face presentation skills of key staff advocating in areas of complex environmental policy. We constructed a number of real life scenarios in which participants were filmed opposite a professional actor. Detailed analysis of these role plays identified individuals’ strengths and weaknesses helping them to significantly improve the effectiveness of their presentation skills.
The United Synagogue
A new brand for its youth work; a major face-lift for its master-brand; project managing a complete rebuild of its website; management of a plethora of projects from writing and editing complex publications to facilitation and brainstorming on a host of issues: this landmark communal organisation has kept us busy. We’ve loved every minute!
National Trust
How does a national organisation build the capacity to influence thousands of key policy makers and stakeholders throughout central and local government? The answer lay in an extensive programme of communications training focused on building the advocacy skills of senior national and regional staff. Over a two year period 94% of participants rated our courses as either excellent or very good.
